Inspired by George Orwells dystopian vision, the album unfolds as an expansive instrumental suite, combining dramatic keyboards, electronic textures, percussion, and orchestral arrangements. Featuring the powerful Prelude 84, 1984 showcases Phillips evolving sound and his talent for creating richly layered, cinematic music.
