Nakamura, Haruka - Look Back (OST)

The original soundtrack to Look Back, composed by acclaimed Japanese composer Haruka Nakamura, arrives on vinyl.

Based on the celebrated manga by Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto, Look Back follows aspiring manga artists Fujino and Kyomoto as their shared passion for drawing brings them together and shapes their lives in unexpected ways. Directed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama, the acclaimed animated film is a moving story about friendship, creativity, loss, and what keeps us creating.

Haruka Nakamura’s deeply intimate score sits at the emotional heart of the film, pairing delicate piano, strings and acoustic instrumentation with the film’s quiet, hand-drawn beauty. Moving from the joyful energy of “Rainy Dance” to the reflective “FINAL ONE” and closing theme “Light song” featuring vocals by urara, the 16-track soundtrack follows Fujino and Kyomoto’s journey from childhood creativity through friendship, separation and remembrance.
