Description
'Velocifero' is a defining statement from one of Britain's most distinctive electronic bands. Ladytron's fourth studio album - and their first for Nettwerk - blends dark synth-pop, analogue textures and art-school experimentation into a sleek, emotionally resonant sound. The Liverpool-formed quartet paired driving rhythms with icy vocals, multilingual elements and cinematic production, creating one of the defining releases in their catalogue. Featuring standout tracks including "Ghosts", "Runaway" and "Tomorrow", 'Velocifero' was widely acclaimed for it's precision and innovation. Hailed by Brian Eno as "the best of English pop music", Ladytron further cemented their reputation as synth-pop innovators, making 'Velocifero' a landmark release in late-2000s electronic music.
