Description
Mr. Scrapper’s Blues is Scrapper Blackwell’s second album and was originally released on Bluesville Records in 1962. This stripped-down album features only Blackwell on vocals, guitar, and piano. Producer Arthur Rosenbaum says, “[Blackwell’s] blues are less direct and accessible but are more subtle and personal; their meaning has grown more profound over the years.” This album has been pressed on 180-gram vinyl at QRP in partnership with Acoustic Sounds and is housed in a replica tip-on jacket.
